As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and support of Back Office systems that process a wide range of financial products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining system stability, introducing automation, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
. Develop complex new functionality and coordinate implementation within Back Office systems, primarily using Unix Scripting
. Provide both functional and technical support for Back Office systems (24x7 support on a rotational basis)
. Automate deployment, testing, health checks, and regression testing
. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and DevOps teams to understand and deliver on requirements
. Maintain and improve existing automated test solutions
. Continuously improve development practices and the release process in collaboration with the team

Requirements
. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial institutions, consultancies, or financial software companies
. Solid experience with Back Office systems
. Knowledge of trade processing, confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting
. Familiarity with financial products such as FX, money markets, and derivatives
. Proficient in SQL, Linux, and Scripting
. Understanding of file transfer protocols and Middleware architecture

Nice to Have
. Experience with Continuous Delivery tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
. Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies
