Overview:
We are currently supporting a leading client in Sweden seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Release Manager/Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in managing the end-to-end release life cycle within a complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

Role Summary:
As the Release Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing release activities across all D365 F&O environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the smooth delivery of updates, integrations, and system enhancements while maintaining strong governance and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the release calendar for D365 F&O

• Coordinate code and configuration deployments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments

• Lead governance activities including go/no-go decisions, risk reviews, and cutover planning

• Utilize Microsoft LCS and Azure DevOps to support release orchestration and CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure comprehensive testing (unit, integration, regression, performance) is executed for each release

• Maintain release documentation, test evidence, and audit records

• Drive process improvements in release and deployment methodologies

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8+ years' experience in ERP release management, ideally within D365 F&O or Dynamics AX

• Strong expertise in Microsoft LCS, Azure DevOps, and D365 environment management

• Familiar with managing releases in regulated or audit-sensitive environments

• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps principles

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent releases

Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft certifications in D365 or Azure

• Experience with third-party integrations or ISV solutions within D365

• Familiarity with automation tools and Scripting for Azure DevOps pipelines
