Are you an experienced Test Automation Engineer/Software Developer in Test looking for a new Test Automation job in Basel? Are you interested in joining a team that is looking for technical guidance on building test frameworks from scratch specifically around API testing? Do you have strong technical skills in JAVA or Python as well as good SQL experience? If so this could be the perfect next Test Automation Engineer role for you.

You will be joining a team that are responsible for ensuring software solutions meet the highest quality standards. The team look after a core microservices framework and are currently enhancing an existing quality assurance framework. However, this is done with a vendor product and as such the team are looking to add Senior Test Automation experience to the team in the form of an experienced Test Automation Engineer that has experience of developing frameworks from scratch, understands microservices architecture and ideally has previous financial services experience. You will need to have strong technical skills in an OO programming language such as JAVA or C# and ideally also have good skills in Python or even Javascript. The rest of the tech stack consists of Jira Xray, Confluence, Jenkins and Openshift.

This is truly a technical role, so will not suit you if you have moved into Test Management or are not interested in performing pure technical test automation, there will be no people management or leadership.

What is also very important to know about this Test Automation Engineer job is that it is a fully on site job, which means you must be happy to work in Basel 5 days a week.
