Location: Central London 3-days per week
We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support the migration and reimagining of enterprise data systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll play a crucial role in analysing existing database and data warehouse jobs, helping design future-state data products in collaboration with data modellers.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyse current data pipelines and document Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM).
- Trace data flows between source and downstream systems.
- Define requirements for data ingestion and consumption in the target architecture.
- Support Data Modellers in designing enterprise-level data products.
- Apply knowledge of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.
- Utilise enterprise data modelling techniques (eg star schema, snowflake schema).
- Use normalisation and de-normalisation techniques where appropriate.
What you'll need
- Strong skills in Advanced SQL, SSIS, Python, and Shell Scripting.
- Experience using ER Studio for data modelling.
- Working knowledge of GCP components (eg GCS, BigQuery, Kafka).
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
