Desktop Support Analyst

Our client, a globally recognised organisation with offices across multiple regions, is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their Technology team in their Aldgate office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional, fast-paced environment where technology plays a critical role in day-to-day operations.
As part of a high-performing IT function, you'll deliver hands-on support for end-users, working with a broad range of systems and collaborating with colleagues around the world to maintain a seamless technology experience.
Role responsibilities:-
Provide Level 2 support for desktop hardware, operating systems, and standard business applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues on both macOS and Windows platforms.

Manage basic network services including DNS and DHCP.
-
Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).

Maintain endpoint security and compliance using Microsoft Intune.
-
Follow ITIL-aligned processes for incident, request, and change management.

Log and track tickets using the service desk platform
-
Collaborate with international IT teams to resolve escalations and deliver consistent service.
-
Support users with clear communication and occasional user training where needed.
-
Strong experience in a Level 2 Desktop Support role; Level 3 exposure is advantageous.

Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows environments.

Solid understanding of Active Directory, including user and object management.
-
Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and support.

Experience with Intune, Freshworks, or similar tools.

Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
-
Clear communicator with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Independent, adaptable, and effective in a team setting.
