Salt is proud to be partnered with a leading US-based technology company on the lookout for a talented Senior Software Developer to join their team. You'll be contributing to a large-scale analytics platform, building tailored SLA reporting solutions for one of their high-profile clients.

• Designing and building scalable and resilient software systems within a modern analytics platform.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine new features.
• Optimising existing codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex Back End issues.
• Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and promoting best practices.
• Exploring and integrating emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

Must-Have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience in Back End software development.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Apache Spark, Ray.io, or Daft (getdaft.io).
• Knowledge of FastAPI, Pandas, Polars, or other data tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
