Senior DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared)

Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Work collaboratively in agile teams delivering services used by a wide range of customers.
- Design, build and support highly available, scalable, and secure AWS-hosted applications.
- Take ownership of cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.
- Embed security controls into cloud architectures to mitigate modern threats.
- Lead improvements in system performance, monitoring and observability.
- Ensure DevOps practices are well documented and repeatable.

Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and its security, identity, and compliance services.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible.
- Experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, etc).
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS).
- Proficient in CI/CD processes and tooling (Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions).
- Deep experience with monitoring and alerting systems (ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Practical knowledge of cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache).
- Ability to document and refine DevOps standards and best practices.
- Eligibility for SC Clearance - must have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years.
