Working with prestigious London market insurer

I am looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Integration Engineer to help bring coherence and orchestration to a fragmented technology environment.

About the role-

• Design and implement integration solutions across our technology estate to enable seamless data and system interoperability.
• Assess existing systems and integrations, identifying areas of inefficiency, duplication, or fragility, and lead remediation efforts.
• Champion modern integration platforms, tools, and patterns (eg, APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging systems).
• Act as a bridge between architecture, engineering, and other technology teams to ensure integration aligns with strategic goals and user needs.

Experience required-

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures using modern tooling
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, data orchestration, and system architecture in complex environments
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern API life cycle management
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving landscapes and cutting through noise to find scalable, elegant solutions
• Experience working in or with modern, product-led organisations; ideally with a record of helping traditional organisations environments evolve

Tech stack -

• You must have proven experience in Microsoft services including:
  • Web Apps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, API Management, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, and core networking components
  • Business automation using Power Automate
  • Data integration and transformation tools including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and SQL server
  • AI tools such as Copilot Studio and AI cognitive services
• Working knowledge of commonly used programming languages and frameworks relevant to integration development (eg, JavaScript, C#, Python)
