Functional D365 Consultant/Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Functional Consultant/Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and a strong grasp of business processes. In this hybrid role, you will act as a bridge between our D365 engineering team and client stakeholders, ensuring business needs are accurately captured and translated into scalable technical solutions.

This is a client-facing position that demands both strategic thinking and hands-on collaboration, based out of our London office (minimum 3 days onsite per week).

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the D365 engineering team and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and documentation aligned with D365 capabilities.
• Lead workshops, requirements sessions, and stakeholder meetings to define system functionalities and enhancements.
• Provide architectural and functional input for D365 implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Assist in the creation of functional solution designs, test plans, and training materials.
• Support UAT and ensure alignment between delivered solutions and business expectations.
• Advise clients on best practices for D365 usage and optimization to improve business efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant or Solution Architect with focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, or Business Central).
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand and map business processes to D365 functionality.
• Experience facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive functional documentation.
• Understanding of D365 integrations and basic technical architecture is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Background in Business Analysis or Business Process Reengineering.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid role based in London.
• Minimum 3 days per week onsite required to collaborate with teams and stakeholders effectively.
