BDM/IDMC Technical Lead - 6 months - Hybrid (Norwich) - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Informatica BDM/IDMC Technical Lead to join a leading enterprise client on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on business-critical data integration and cloud transformation initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge Informatica and cloud technologies within a complex data landscape.

This hybrid role offers a high-impact environment focused on architecture, implementation, and optimisation of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical leadership using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IDMC) and PowerCenter across integration and data quality initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and applications to process high volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
• Develop and support robust data solutions that align with cloud architecture standards (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Optimise performance of complex SQL queries and ETL workflows.
• Lead infrastructure architecture design, hardware sizing, and security configuration for data solutions.
• Carry out data profiling and quality assessments using Informatica and Excel tools.
• Create reusable solutions to support analytics and BI capabilities across the organisation.
• Implement standardised data validation and transformation logic within ETL processes.

What You'll Ideally Bring:

• Proven expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IDMC), DataLake, and Data Warehouse environments.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Experience with data analysis and data modelling activities.
• Ability to develop and maintain application integrations using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud technologies; Spark experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level data management and governance practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Likely to Extend)
• Location: Hybrid (Site Visits to Norwich)
• Daily Rate: £600 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
