Salary £70,000 - £90,000

London - Canary Wharf

Once the successful candidate has passed their 3 month probation period, they will be able to work on a hybrid model, the average is 2 days in and 3 from home, with flex when needed for meetings etc

I am looking for an experienced data engineer with strong engineering skills in Fabric or Azure data platforms. Experience producing PowerBI Reports. Experience working with and ingesting data from APIs.

The Senior Data & Platform Engineer is to manage a small team of mid-level Data Engineers. This role reports directly into Head of IT Development; and will be the go-to for all things Data Engineering/Azure and Azure fabric.

My client uses both Azure Cloud (ie Azure Data Lakes, Azure Power Apps etc) and also the NEW Azure Fabric environment

Ideally we would like to find people that have some Azure Fabric skills.

This is a Senior position that will be involved with new ideas, new architecture, best practice and some 'team leading'; but it's still a very hands-on Engineering role and will need solid experience in Power Platform, Power Apps, Building New Data Pipelines using Azure, Data API builds, Data Factory etc.

• 5+ years' Experience in an enterprise environment
• 3+ years' Proven experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, working with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, including DAX and Power Query (M).
• Experience with Python or Spark for data processing.
• Experience with API-based data ingestion and integration, including handling authentication, pagination, and rate limits.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI integration within Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience of working in a Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001 accredited organisation.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
