Job Title: Business Architect
Location: Dublin (Remote)
Contract Type: 2 months (initially)
Working Pattern: Remote
Rate: €500 per day (Outside IR35)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to support the design and delivery of a large-scale transformation program. This role will be instrumental in shaping strategic initiatives, ensuring architectural alignment, and bridging the gap between business and technical teams across Phase 1 and Phase 2 activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Active Delivery (Phase 1):

Provide business architecture input into Phase 1 initiatives currently underway.

Identify and address overlaps or dependencies between initiatives to ensure alignment.
-
Support the Risk & Controls gap analysis through business process and data architecture insights.
2. Target Architecture Development:
-
Collaborate with technical leads and Group stakeholders to define the north star target architecture.
-
Document and communicate the business architecture perspective to align with the overall technical strategy.
-
Identify capability gaps and recommend transitional steps to move from current to target state.
3. Phase 2 Planning & Shaping:
-
Partner with initiative leads to review and assess proposed Phase 2 initiatives.

Evaluate the strategic fit of initiatives against the target architecture.

Prioritise and sequence initiatives based on business value, risk, and dependencies.

Contribute to the development of Phase 2 scope, resource planning, and cost estimation.
4. CPC Impact Review:
-
Lead the assessment of CPC (Critical Process Controls) impacts across both Phase 1 and proposed Phase 2 initiatives.

Identify implications on process, data, and controls and propose effective mitigation strategies.
5. Outputs & Governance:
-
Produce a clear and comprehensive view of the target business architecture to support executive decision-making.

Deliver summary updates and briefing materials for governance forums, focusing on architectural alignment, risks, and priorities.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in business architecture and strategic planning within large transformation programmes.

Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture frameworks
-
Demonstrated ability to align business and technical strategies in complex organisations.
-
Strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and communication skills.
-
Financial services or regulated industry experience desirable.
