Level 3 Network Engineer - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Glasgow/Perth,Scotland

We are looking for a skilled Level 3 Network Engineer to support a major transformation project involving the migration of enterprise LAN and Wi-Fi services from a traditional Cisco network to a Meraki Direct Internet Access (DIA) solution. This is a hands-on role within a wider delivery team, contributing to key project milestones and BAU troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the migration of LAN and Wi-Fi services from Corporate Cisco infrastructure to Meraki DIA.
• Assist with the identification and troubleshooting of existing services across Cisco and Meraki networks.
• Support the decommissioning of Legacy Corporate network equipment and services.
• Carry out installation and configuration of Meraki WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi at new or future sites.
• Collaborate with Network Architects on aspects of network design and optimisation.
• Liaise with Project Management teams to support network builds and deployment activities.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki networking environments.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Proven background in supporting network migrations and infrastructure changes.
• Solid troubleshooting skills in complex network scenarios.
• Comfortable working within project delivery frameworks and BAU support environments.
