We're looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, and related hardware/software. The ideal candidate will be confident in troubleshooting, device imaging, and providing both onsite and remote support within a corporate IT environment.
Key Details:
Location: Feltham/Bath/Gloucester (5 days per week on-site)
Rate: £200 - £300 PD
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Image, configure, and deploy end-user devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, Windows OS, and common enterprise applications
- Handle tickets via ServiceNow/Remedy and ensure SLA compliance
- Support basic network connectivity and VOIP issues
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs and escalations
- Maintain documentation and standard procedures
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows 10/11, and MS Office
- Familiar with O365, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Experience with imaging tools and device refresh projects
- Clear, professional communication and good stakeholder management
