AWS DevOps Engineer - Up to £60,000 | Hybrid (3 Days Cardiff) | Permanent

Are you a cloud-savvy DevOps engineer looking to make an impact in a fast-moving, tech-led environment?

My client a leader in their field are hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. You'll be instrumental in designing and automating cloud infrastructure, improving CI/CD processes, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable environments for our applications.

• Develop, manage, and monitor scalable AWS-based infrastructure

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (eg, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

• Automate infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product teams to support deployments

• Improve reliability, performance, and security across systems

• Monitor systems using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.)

• Familiarity with containerisation technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS a plus)

• Solid experience with Linux-based systems

• Strong knowledge of Scripting (Bash, Python or similar)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

• CI/CD pipeline creation and automation experience

• Hybrid: 3 days per week in their Cardiffoffice, rest remote

• Flexible working culture with emphasis on output, not micromanagement
