GCP Data Architect - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (London)

We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Data Architect to join our clients Architecture Team as part of a major transformation programme. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a hybrid, inside IR35 contract role for a minimum of 6 months, with likely extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions on GCP.
• Contribute to architectural governance (Design Authority, Architecture Review Board).
• Develop strategies for app migration, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Communicate technical concepts to varied audiences clearly and effectively.
• Drive innovation through PoCs and collaboration across IT teams.

What you will ideally bring:

• Strong GCP cloud architecture experience, including security and resilience.
• Expertise in microservices, containers (Kubernetes/Docker), and event-driven/data architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native design and operational best practices.
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• GCP certifications and experience in regulated environments are a plus.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months

• Location: London (Hybrid - 3 times per week)

• Daily Rate: Up to £575-600 per day (Inside IR35)
