My client are a IT consultancy looking to add a Techbar Engineer with a client within defence

For this role you will need to be SC Cleared and comfortable with occasionally driving a van

£25.15ph inside IR35

Full time onsite in London

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our support team as a TechBar Engineer. This role is centered around providing hands-on assistance, addressing queries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all individuals seeking support through the TechBar. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and consistently delivers a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for walk-up support and service requests.

  • Provide timely and professional assistance to users, guiding them through resolutions or escalating where appropriate.

  • Maintain a positive and approachable presence at the TechBar to foster a welcoming support environment.

  • Document interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately for tracking and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to service delivery.

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development initiatives.

  • Ensure workspace is organized and presentable, reflecting a high standard of professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a support or service desk role.

  • Familiarity with structured workflows and documentation practices.
