A prestigious company is looking for a DevOps Trade Support Engineer. This role will focus on Linux front and Back End trade application support. This role will work with log files, python, Perl, automation, production support for Unix/Linux.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
• Proactive identification and resolution of production issues
• Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/automation with Scripting
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues
• Production Deployments of all infrastructure components
• Off hours pager support on a rotating schedule
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands
• Database knowledge with SQL - MySQL, InfluxDB
• Strong Scripting knowledge - Python/Bash
• Experience using Jira as a ticket/work request system
• Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga
• Linux desktop support experience
