Audio Tools Software Engineer - San Diego, CA (Carlsbad area)

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer with a strong interest in audio technology. You'll design and implement tools to enhance audio hardware pipelines for AI-assisted wearable devices. Collaborating with experts in Embedded systems and acoustics, you'll contribute to the full product development cycle.

• Develop and implement desktop application features (primarily in C/C++).

• Collaborate cross-functionally to adjust tools based on project requirements.

• Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions.

• Own specific components or systems with end-to-end understanding.

• Contribute to development process improvements and product reliability.

• 3+ years in C/C++ programming and debugging.

• 3+ years of desktop or mobile application development experience.

• Proven experience shipping high-quality software.

• Ownership of features or systems in past roles.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience with JUCE framework.

• Background in audio DSP, plugins, or DAWs.

• GUI development with C++ or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with dev-ops (build systems, installers, telemetry).

• Exposure to MATLAB or Audio Weaver.

• Team player with strong communication skills.
