Lead AWS Engineer - £400/day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid - London

My client a leader in their field are urgently seeking a Lead AWS Engineer to join their team for a contract position offering £400 per day (Inside IR35). This is a hybrid role, with 1 day per week onsite in London and the rest remote. This role is with a leading financial services business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AWS infrastructure development and support for mission-critical workloads

• Drive implementation of CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD

• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools

• Integrate cloud-native security best practices

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience across AWS platforms

• Leverage containerization, configuration management, and DevOps tooling

• Expert-level AWS knowledge, including deep familiarity with services and Cilium

• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD, containers, and configuration management

• Strong proficiency with Terraform

• Banking experience preferential

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale workloads in AWS

• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
