Ink Search are representing a prestigious global commodities trading business in London. The have a large and exciting, greenfield trading systems and data modernisation programme to drive sophistication across their systems estate and enable a better quality, more sophisticated, quantitative approach to pre-trade decision analytics. The programme requires a large scale shift to Azure and Container technologies and has a large internal software development agenda. To complement the Information Security team, they are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer/Azure Security Engineer.

As a DevSecOps/Azure Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in integrating security practices into the Cloud, DevOps and Data Pipeline processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to ensure that their applications and cloud enabled infrastructure are secure, reliable, and efficient. Your primary focus will be on automating security processes in an Azure enabled environment, identifying and mitigating security risks, and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organisation.

The successful applicant will have strong experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer, within a complex, Azure enabled technology ecosystem. You'll possess strong Azure and Powershell Automation experience, driving a modern approach to security and vulnerability management across cloud platforms, software development/DevOps processes and Data Pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Integration:

   • Integrate and automate security tools and processes in an Azure enabled environment
   • Implement security controls and compliance frameworks.
   • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests.

2. Automation and Monitoring:

   • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating security tasks.
   • Monitor security events and incidents, and respond promptly to any security breaches.
   • Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Candidates would be expected to work from the London office 2 - 3 times per week. An ideal candidate would have strong experience in DevSecOps/Azure Platform security and be looking for a amazing opportunity Financial Services, Investment Banking or Commodities Trading.
