Java Full-Stack Developer - (m,w,d) DevOps/Angular/Spring Boot/AWS 80-100%

Project: To join a large-scale digital transformation program, we are looking for a Java Full-Stack Developer (with DevOps Skills). You will help build a new service platform and Middleware layer to connect external vendor systems with internal enterprise systems. The focus is on developing a new POS core system using a domain-driven approach.

Main Tasks:

• Design and implement Middleware for system integration and data exchange
• Develop a greenfield service platform with a domain-oriented architecture
• Work on both Back End and Front End components (Java/Spring Boot, Angular)
• Build scalable, cloud-native services using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Ensure quality through automated testing (unit, integration, system)
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Implement system observability using Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Collaborate closely with distributed agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)

Requirements:

• Degree in business informatics, computer science or comparable qualification
• Min 5 years experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Kafka
• Strong understanding of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on with Git (incl. pull request workflows), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions)
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, ArgoCD
• Experience with cloud-based architecture (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of software design principles (microservices, REST APIs, modulithic design)
• Strong testing mindset (unit, integration, system tests)
• Monitoring and logging experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
• Agile working experience (Scrum, Kanban), collaboration via Jira, Confluence, MS Teams

Languages:

• English; fluent (written and spoken)
• German; Min B1
