customers

Position: Senior Technical Specialist - EBS DBA

Location: Reading/Havant, England

Mode of working: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Duration: 3 months Contract+ possibility of extension

Overview:

Our EBS Database Support team is primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining the Oracle databases and technical stack that underpin SSE's Oracle E-business Suite applications

Responsibilty:

• Expert of Oracle EBS R12.2 application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades, using Oracle EBS Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools to apply patches and system updates.
• Knowledge of the multi-node EBS environments to administer Concurrent Managers, Parallel Concurrent Processing, and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues.
• Need to carry database administration, maintenance, security implementation, upgrade and patching, database performance tuning, sizing and capacity planning, database backup and recovery
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OIC and Autonomous database management advantageous.
