AVD Tech Lead - Contract - Hybrid

Pay: inside IR35, up to £405 per day
Location: hybrid in central London

We're seeking a skilled AVD Technical Lead to design, deliver, and optimise Azure Virtual Desktop solutions in a complex enterprise environment. You'll be central to a major transformation project, using the latest Microsoft cloud technologies in a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead AVD architecture, design, and implementation
- Manage operations and performance optimisation
- Automate deployments using PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform
- Ensure security and compliance across the platform
- Troubleshoot issues and support end-user environments
- Oversee image management, application delivery, and FSLogix
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service teams

Skills Required:
- 6+ years in infrastructure, incl. 3+ years with Azure Virtual Desktop
- Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, networking, storage, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Scripting & IaC skills: PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform
- Experience with FSLogix, Intune, and user profile management
- Understanding of app packaging, image creation, and deployment
