Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Prague, Czech Republic (Hybrid - 1-2 days/week in office)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. You will be responsible for facilitating agile delivery and supporting one to two Scrum teams of medium to high complexity. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence in Prague 1-2 days per week.

• Serve as a Scrum Master for one or two agile teams, guiding them in Agile principles, values, and practices.

• Foster a collaborative team environment where continuous improvement and high performance are key priorities.

• Promote Agile best practices and ensure consistent application across the teams, especially in scaled agile environments (eg, SAFe or other frameworks).

• Remove impediments and barriers to ensure smooth delivery and maintain focus on sprint goals.

• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-managed product backlog and help maximise the value delivered by the teams.

• Coach and mentor team members, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to increase agile maturity.

• Facilitate all standard Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).

• Protect teams from external distractions and interruptions to maintain momentum and focus.

• Proactively identify and address impediments that hinder team performance or delivery time lines.

• Assist in conflict resolution and foster an environment of open communication and trust.

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, ideally with multiple agile teams.

• Applied knowledge of Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and delivery practices.

• Excellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with medium to high complexity teams and projects.

• Ability to navigate and resolve team dynamics and delivery challenges.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively remove blockers.

• Exceptional communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Experience in large-scale transformation or enterprise-level agile implementation.

• Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.).

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar agile platforms.

• Knowledge of Czech or another Central European language is a plus but not required.
