Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced Payments Data Architect to focus on the delivery of ISO 20022 and multiple ongoing workstreams for a major high street bank. You must have worked within payments and data previously and have a deep understanding of ISO20022. This role is more a lead solution architect with data experience than an out and out data architect.
You will be working to support/lead the inflight strategic work around designing reference architecture for a data marketplace model and payment data products for a single reusable data enterprise model. They are in the early stages with reference architecture still forming and the blueprint needs to be established with components.
You must have strong data skills and in defining architecture/design of payments data solutions including technology like kafka, ETL, modern DB technologies and their operational aspects. You will have experience with distributed systems ad how to pass data between systems and how to persist data in various stores and making data available via APIS's and the ability to consider AI options.
The role will require occasional travel to client site and has been deemed to be inside IR35.
