IT Helpdesk Administrator - Contract - Outside of IR35
IT Helpdesk Administrator urgently required to cover a contract in Jersey.
You must be based 'On-Island' in Jersey due to the nature of this role.
We're currently partnering with a respected and long-established law firm in Jersey to recruit an experienced IT Helpdesk Administrator for an initial 3-month day-rate contract. This is a hands-on, first and second-line support role, in a professional and fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support across the firm (hardware, software, printers, VPN, etc.)
- Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Set up and decommission user accounts, hardware, and permissions (Active Directory, M365)
- Deliver excellent on-boarding and off-boarding support, including equipment provisioning
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and basic networking issues
- Maintain IT asset registers and support documentation
- Collaborate with third-party IT providers as needed for escalations or system maintenance
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and support security protocols
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an IT helpdesk/support environment, ideally within a legal or professional services firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory administration
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a calm, service-oriented approach
- Able to work independently and manage multiple support queries in a structured way
- Exposure to legal case/document management systems is advantageous (eg imanage and Intapp)
