SR2 are supporting a major digital health programme in recruiting a Senior Information Governance & Data Law Consultant to guide a key transition for Digital Screening Services. This role will lead the development of a legal and IG framework to unlock safe, compliant data use and enable more personalised, citizen-focused digital services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a clear legal and governance direction in collaboration with senior policy and legal stakeholders.
- Guide alignment of data governance frameworks during a period of organisational transition and beyond.
- Draft and implement information governance policies that enable data use while satisfying central approval processes.
- Drive transparency and accountability initiatives to maintain public trust in data-driven services.
- Shape the legal foundations supporting long-term strategic use of data across digital screening programmes.
- Expert knowledge of UK data protection legislation and its practical application within public sector or healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop policies that balance regulatory compliance with operational innovation.
- Strong grasp of complex governance models within large-scale organisations.
- Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple departments and policy areas
