Salary Range: $150,000 -185,000

We're seeking a skilled Acoustic Measurement Engineer or Technician to support the development of cutting-edge consumer electronics. This role is ideal for someone passionate about audio technology and eager to contribute to delivering exceptional user experiences.
You'll be part of a collaborative team working at the intersection of acoustic design, software, hardware, and user experience-participating in every stage of the product development life cycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed acoustic and audio measurements, including frequency response, distortion, and impedance analysis
Prototype and evaluate emerging audio technologies during early development stages
Collect and validate measurement data to support design decisions and feature implementation
Define and follow test procedures with a focus on accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility
Maintain and optimize a well-organized and fully functional lab environment
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in audio hardware testing.
Experience with tools like HATS, measurement microphones, and systems such as Head Acoustics ACQUA, Audio Precision, or Listen Inc. SoundCheck.
Scripting skills in MATLAB or Python.
Familiarity with tools such as Keyence, Polytec, or Klippel systems.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Interest in hearing science or psychoacoustics is a plus.
