We are working with a well-known retail brand who are seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Contractor to join their team on a 3-month contract, based onsite in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a lively, fast-paced environment, supporting a wide range of IT systems and users. The role is Outside IR35 and offers a daily rate of £140.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd Line support across a Microsoft-based environment, including O365, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Support and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Escalate complex issues to 3rd Line Support when necessary.
- Ensure all incidents and service requests are logged and updated within the ITSM tool.
- Maintain excellent communication with users throughout the incident life cycle.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly O365 and Windows OS.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Exchange, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service approach with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
Additional Information:
- This is a fully onsite role - candidates must be able to commute to Liverpool daily.
- Immediate start preferred.
- 3-month initial contract with potential for extension.
