Rate: £400 per day Inside IR35
Location: Knutsford, 2 days on site per week

Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing development team in Knutsford. You'll champion agile practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive both team productivity and individual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
• Own the delivery of technical products and projects, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Create and maintain project plans for large-scale epics.
• Run and continuously improve agile processes and ceremonies.
• Provide technical coaching and architecture guidance.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and career development.
• Engage in hands-on practices such as code reviews, bug fixing, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate across departments and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Drive innovation and implement process improvements.
• Actively contribute to the team culture and overall technical direction.

Tech & Tools You'll Work With:

• Languages & Frameworks: Strong background in Java, microservices, and APIs.
• Methodologies: Agile, Scrum.
• Tools: Jira, Confluence.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines and tooling experience expected.
