Oracle EBS Functional Lead - Financial Systems Delivery Manager
Location: Langley, UK (2 days per week on-site)
Salary: £70,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent, part time (2 days/week)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Lead to join our Financial Systems team and take ownership of delivery management across our Financial Business Systems portfolio. This role is critical to the success of financial systems transformation, including the shift from Legacy systems to modern PaaS/SaaS solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day delivery, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment with business needs-helping to drive operational excellence and user adoption across a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Functional Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS and Oracle EPM Fusion.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with the global Finance team.
• Manage and coordinate offshore delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Providers and internal IT teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Expense Reporting.
• Promote best practices, compliance, and innovation across the finance technology landscape.
• Ensure effective partnership between business and IT teams for consistent and aligned execution.
• Monitor industry and technology trends to support ongoing transformation and service enhancements.

Experience & Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles, ideally across quality assurance, software development, project management, and operations.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle EPM Fusion, including Finance & Reporting systems.
• Proven leadership in delivering enterprise-grade financial technology solutions in a global, matrixed environment.
• Experience managing third-party system integrators, particularly for EPM ARCS implementation.
• Familiarity with public, hybrid, and private Cloud Service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, engage with senior leadership, and adapt working style as needed.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC, and GDPR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior involvement in multi-year digital transformation projects, especially migrating from Legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
• Experience guiding solution design in alignment with industry best practices.
