BI Developer - SQL, PowerBI

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 + up to 15% bonus + 10% pension + benefits

MUST HAVE Insurance or Financial experience

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented BI Developer to support the BI function of a fast-paced and innovative Lloyd's syndicate. You'll play a key role in maintaining and developing Power BI reporting solutions and data warehouse systems for internal and financial reporting.

If you have a strong SQL background, experience in Power BI, and a basic understanding of the insurance market, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

? Designing and developing BI solutions in cloud and on-premise environments

? Creating and maintaining Power BI reports and models

? Troubleshooting and triaging BI-related issues (Jira)

? Supporting ETL development and DevOps pipelines

? Monitoring and resolving daily job failures within agreed timeframes

? Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs

? Maintaining data architecture, warehouses, and databases

? Ensuring full unit testing and change control before deployment

What We're Looking For

? Strong SQL coding skills

? Experience in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite

? A basic understanding of the Insurance market

? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

? Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

? A proactive team player with strong communication skills
