Senior Business Advisor

Preferably Wales (open to candidates near Wales or across the UK)

12 Months Contract

£140 to £150 a day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking a passionate Start Up Business Support Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will assess the viability of business propositions by reviewing business plans and cash flow forecasts, helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life. You will support applicants throughout their finance application journey - from initial contact through to the final outcome - offering advice, guidance, and expert support every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the feasibility of start-up business proposals, including the review of business plans and cash flow forecasts.
• Provide tailored advice and guidance to applicants throughout the finance application process.
• Liaise with internal teams, including the Credit Team and Fraud Team, to support robust decision-making.
• Communicate regularly with applicants via phone and email to ensure a smooth and supportive experience.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Business Advisor is highly desirable.
• Alternatively, experience as a business owner, business mentor, or strong transferable skills related to business consultancy will be considered.
• Comfortable communicating over the phone and engaging directly with applicants.
• Knowledge of financial services, business planning, and start-up ecosystems is a plus.
• Based in Wales or nearby, but we are open to strong candidates from other locations.
