Global Operations Director/Global Ops Director/Global Director of Networks - Estates Management - Leadership - Strategy - Global - Government - DV Clearance

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Global Operations Director to join them for an initial 6 month contract. They are offering £820 per day OUTSIDE IR35.

Our client is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. They offer hybrid working, 3 days per week on site.

This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV cleared or eligible to undertake Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Chief of Operations, as the Interim Director of Global Network, you will lead our clients regional network services to maintain optimum delivery during a period of re-organisation and change.

Managing a delivery portfolio of circa £50m, you will lead the team of 190 based in the UK and across the globe, as well as management of global and local supply chain.

Services include technical security and property management as well as Estates remedial programmes and small works projects. Working alongside the Estates and Security Network, your focus will be to deliver secure solutions in sometimes complex locations.

Experience:

• Demonstrable record of extensive operational and senior management experience with a proven track record in growing businesses and leading and delivering continuous improvement in a global, complex service delivery environment
• Proven experience of managing high performing teams in remote working environments and a track record at a senior delivery level of leading teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, develop and empower others
• Personal impact and credibility to operate at a senior level with the ability to develop stakeholder relationships, building trust and credibility internally and externally
• Proven track record of implementing change effectively to deliver business impact
• Ability to develop and successfully lead implementation of strategy and strategic objectives
• Strong commercial acumen with a pragmatic approach and drive for outstanding customer excellence
• Demonstrable experience of large-scale project and programme delivery
• Broad understanding of the requirements and interactions of different skill sets in a complex organisation.
• Experience in resource planning and implementation
