Windows 11 Deployment/2nd line Support Engineer

Location: Bournemouth (Onsite working) Contract Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a skilled Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to support the enterprise-wide upgrade to Windows 11. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile transformation project within a collaborative and forward-thinking technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of the Windows 11 rollout across the business, adhering to IT policies and timelines.

• Perform hardware/software compatibility checks and readiness assessments.

• Leverage SCCM, Intune, and other deployment tools to develop and test custom Windows 11 images.

• Manage driver integration, software packaging, and user profile migration with precision.

• Collaborate with IT Security, help desk, and application teams to ensure seamless deployment.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain accurate deployment documentation and logs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale Windows OS deployments.

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Proficient in SCCM, Intune, and ideally Windows Autopilot; PowerShell Scripting is a plus.

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-100, MD-101, or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
