Systems Administrator (CI/CD & IAC orientated)
As Systems Administrator, you will become a valued member of a dynamic and responsive team, working to design, implement and maintain enterprise grade IT systems (services, server, storage and network) along with our internal compute clusters, all of which underpin the services used by Engineering, Data Scientists and other functions within Feature space.
This role requires living within commutable distance to our Cambridge office. This is a Full time position with flexible working hours, and requires some on-call and occasional out-of hours working.
- Prior experience using automation tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Foreman, Chef, Salt, Puppet)
- Good knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms; Ideally AWS
- Experience maintaining build system, source code management; eg TeamCity/GitLab etc
- Knowledge of IP Networking, DNS, and Firewalling
- Experience with Python, Shell Scripts and command-line tools
- Knowledge of containerization and related orchestration technologies
- Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organizations.
- Naturally able & productive with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow etc.
