Network Architect - £550/Day via Umbrella Company - Birmingham (Hybrid) - 8 months contract - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, commissioning, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a strong background in Cisco technologies.

Your key responsibilities as Network Architect:

• Design and deploy network solutions for corporate and data centre environments.
• Lead the migration of network infrastructure from Legacy systems to modern Cisco hardware.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Develop high-level and low-level network designs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Required experience for the Network Architect:

• Vast experience in networking, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, CCIE.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Routing & Switching, Security, and MPLS.
• Experience with Cisco DNA-Centre/SD-Access, Cisco ACI, and SD-WAN (Cisco & Fortinet).
• Proficiency with Nexus 9000, 7000, 6000, 5000, 2000 series, and Catalyst Switches.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki Wireless & Switching, Cisco Router Platforms, and Cisco Aironet Wireless products.
• Familiarity with Unified Communications Manager and Voice Over IP.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead technical implementation.
