Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: West Yorkshire/Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits

Senior Azure Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and manage Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS services using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Implement and maintain cloud security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and architecture teams to evaluate and introduce new cloud services.
• Proactively monitor environments to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Work across both Linux and Windows environments to support infrastructure and applications.
• Lead on cloud engineering aspects of key technology projects, producing high-quality technical designs.
• Ensure alignment with overall technical strategies and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.

Senior Azure Cloud Engineer Requirements:

• Strong experience managing Microsoft Azure technologies (AD, SQL Server, IIS, SCCM).
• Proven experience with build and release automation and CI/CD pipelines, preferably for Azure VMware Solution.
• Proficient in Scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Bicep).
• Unix and Windows system administration, ideally in containerised environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure integration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and enterprise networks (TCP/IP).
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator & Security Engineer qualifications.
