Our Client, one of the world's foremost Communications companies, is looking to recruit a Customer Solutions Engineer to be based in Basingstoke.
As a member of the EMEA CSDE team, the EMEA Customer Solutions Engineer will be responsible for Gathering Technical Detail (IP & Security), Configuration Build of security products & Activation & testing security products across the Global Network.
At all times ensuring the implementation meets customer expectations and business revenue requirements.
Gathering Technical Detail (IP & Security) consists of communicating with customers technical contacts to capture the technical requirements and network details for security products such as Managed Security Service (MSS) Cloud & Premise Base Firewall, Adaptive Network Service (ANS) Cloud base Firewall, DDOS Mitigation & Adaptive Threat Intelligence (ATI). This task is vital to the role to ensure customer satisfaction is always maintained.
Configuration builds utilising various tools and networks across the portfolio, including but not limited to Fortigate, FortiManager, Juniper, Alcatel, Cisco, Radware, Arbor & Versa. The CSDE engineer is responsible for configuring the security devices via CLI & GUI which will include but not limited to Firewall Policies, IPS/IDS, Web Content Filtering, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware, DLP, APP Awareness, FSSO, LDAP, RADIUS, Mobility, NAT/VIP, IPSEC, GRE, BGP, Statics.
The Customer Solutions Engineer manages implementation of the customer security service, this consists of implementing and testing of the security builds to meet customer expectations and deliver order revenue in line with business commitments. Ensuring SLA's are adhered to and customer expectations are fulfilled.
Extensive knowledge of Fortinet products such as Fortigate & Fortimanager including troubleshooting experience (Preferably NSE4 Level or equivalent).
Technical experience of network routing (Preferably CCNP level or equivalent) within a large Telecommunications Service Provider.
Experience of working within a large Telecommunications Service Provider or equivalent
Experience of gathering technical information via interfacing with Internal & external customers.
Experience of activating managed services with customer interaction.
Experience at working within a high-volume quick delivery provisioning organisation
Experience on at least 3 of the following systems is desirable:
