Salesforce UI/UX Developer - 6 months - Hybrid - Inside IR35

We're looking for a Salesforce UI/UX Developer to develop high-performing, accessible, and reusable Front End components on the Salesforce Core Platform. You'll collaborate with design and development teams to bring Figma concepts to life, using SLDS and modern UI practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement WCAG A11y accessibility standards (AA level) using semantic HTML, ideally in a Salesforce environment.

• Convert Figma designs into reusable, responsive Salesforce components, ensuring accessibility and design consistency.

• Collaborate with developers for smooth integration and component library maintenance.

• Build high-performing, multi-tenant web apps on Salesforce Core Platform using modern frameworks.

• Work with Front End technologies: JavaScript, HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, AJAX in a SaaS context.

• Use Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to create user-friendly interfaces.

• Optimise app performance using Chrome DevTools, UI profilers, and cross-browser testing.

• Address design and technical challenges collaboratively, driving continuous improvement.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Experience implementing WCAG 2.2 accessibility principles in Salesforce with semantic HTML.

• Front End development experience inside and outside Salesforce.

• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, AJAX, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).

• Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).

• Proficient in Figma (or similar design tools) for turning designs into scalable components.

• Knowledge of performance engineering and browser tools (ChromeDevTools, UIAutomator).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

• A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with UI/UX, web technologies, and accessibility.

Contract Details:

• Location: Milton Keynes or Liverpool (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
• Duration: 6 months (with view for extension)
• Rate: Up to £475 per day (Inside IR35)
