Leadership Learning and Development Manager
London and Bracknell - Hybrid based
SOW Contract

The role:
The primary focus of this role will be to facilitate, with impact, a signature leadership development programme. The role of the Leadership Learning and Development Manager is to guide, support, and empower leaders to develop the skills, self-awareness, and perspectives necessary to lead effectively, through blending guidance with practical tools, reflective exercises, and actionable feedback, making learning meaningful and impactful.

Accountabilities:

  • Showcase the principles of adult learning: Facilitators need to showcase learning industry principles of learning delivery, including being experts in communication, ambassadors of inclusivity and specialists in adult learning principles.
  • Facilitators must demonstrate confidence as leaders of learning, with the ability to communicate fluently in the language of the business.
  • Facilitators must ensure that delegates follow through with their actionable goals. This includes establishing accountability and follow up mechanisms or using coaching skills to help leaders translate insight into behavioural or cultural shifts.
  • Facilitators should have significant experience working with senior leaders, and showcase high levels of self-management, learning agility and flexibility.
  • Leaders become more agile, flexible, and resilient following learning delivery, enabling them to better navigate change and ambiguity.
  • Facilitators aim to equip leaders with strategies for staying effective in dynamic environments.
  • Facilitators will also need to provide seamless administration, planning and preparation for course delivery, as well as applying a continuous improvement lens at all times, consistently using evaluation and feedback as tools to develop within the role.

Qualifications:

  • You will have a high level of experience and confidence in facilitating learning for senior leader audiences, as well as personal leadership experience.
  • You will be passionate about the development of People and how their performance contributes to the strategic goals of the business.
  • You will have a strong understanding of learning delivery and industry learning models, theories, and practises, and you will be able to utilise these within your delivery.
  • You will have experience of building meaningful relationships with senior leaders, and be able to build trust and engagement rapidly.
  • Recognised Coaching qualification
  • Has an understanding of learning modalities, design and building learning needs analysis.
