ETL/SSIS DevOps Engineer - Brussels

ENGLISH SPEAKING ONLY - EU right to work required to work in Belgium

50% WFH with On-Call duties expected in this long term project

Position Overview: The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for assembling various IT components to create automated solutions.

This role requires solid and proven experience with a range of technologies and a deep understanding of DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Develop and maintain application architecture, including Client Server and Middleware components.
• Ensure application security, including authentication and other security measures.
• Install and troubleshoot software packages.
• Manage network components, including Firewalls, proxies, protocols, and security.
• Work with cloud platforms such as IBM, AWS, or Azure.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Proficiency in software package installation and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with network components and security protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms like IBM, AWS, or Azure.
• Apply good practical knowledge of production environments, both hardware and software.
• Follow Agile project methodology and standards.
• Communicate effectively in English (and a preference for a local language, but not mandatory)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or similar by proven experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering.

• Availability for on-call duties is required.
