ReactJs Architect - 6 months - Fully Remote - Inside IR35

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking React.js Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Front End solutions within a modern full-stack serverless environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to define architecture standards, build reusable UI components, and drive best practices in Front End development, cloud integration, and DevSecOps, delivering robust and maintainable applications using React, TypeScript, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scalable Front End Architecture: Build maintainable React + TypeScript apps styled with Tailwind.
• Component Library Leadership: Develop reusable UI in Storybook with Jest/RTL tests.
• Serverless Full-Stack Design: Implement GlueStack workflows and AWS Lambda/API Gateway integrations.
• Secure AWS Infrastructure: Define AWS CDK IaC with IAM, encryption, and DevSecOps best practices.
• CI/CD & Team Enablement: Create pipelines (CodePipeline/GitHub Actions) and mentor via reviews.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Expert in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component-driven development with Storybook.
• Skilled in serverless full-stack development using GlueStack and AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and Aurora.
• Proficient in AWS CDK, DevSecOps practices, and building secure, scalable cloud architectures.
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and microservices/API-first development.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with view for extension)
• Location: Hybrid in Edinburgh
• Rate: Up to £600 per day Inside IR35
