WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a Change and Communications Lead for a Public Sector client.

The successful candidate will be an expert change communications and engagement practitioner who will design, coordinate and oversee the delivery and approach. You will work with the Head of Digital Engagement and Head of Role as your professional guide and deliver for the Director of Data and Analytics priorities via the Senior Leadership Team sponsor. You will need to lead discussions with Data and Analytics SLT, Digital ET or senior audiences within the organisation to align engagement plans to business goals and direct the activity to high quality delivery across multiple (often competing) priorities.

This role will concentrate on communications and engagement around the Data Strategy Implementation. Including embedding a new 'hub and spoke' model (and related ways of working) within the organisation, helping integrate D&A resource into business units.

This will also require broader responsibilities in terms of building awareness and desire for the change, showing where change is working well and overcoming any cultural or process barriers.

  • Strategic Communication- Knowledge of defining a strategy that delivers business needs
  • Change Communication Knowledge - Experience of delivering a change programme where your strategy had made audiences aware of the change, created a desire for the change, ensured they have the adequate knowledge, abilities and resources to embrace and embed the change.
  • Content Creation - Ability to design and develop engaging content across various formats including text, graphics, videos, infographics, and presentations tailored to different audiences.
  • Digital Analytics - Understanding how to interpret data from web analytics tools to measure campaign performance, track audience behaviour, and optimise communication strategies.
  • Audience Segmentation - Identifying and targeting different audience groups with tailored messaging based on their needs and interests.
  • Storytelling - Crafting compelling narratives to capture attention, evoke emotions, and connect with the audience on a deeper level.
  • Call to Action (CTA) - Clearly guiding the audience towards desired actions through well-defined CTAs in communication.

Please note, this role has been deemed inside of IR35 and our client expects candidates to be on site 3-days per week. Regional offices include Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle.
