Mobile Distributed Data Center Engineer IP & Optical

10+ years' experience in cloud native Deployment/Site Commissioning and Integration. In 4G, 5G NSA/SA Networks and preferably experience in ORAN, CU and DU architectures. 3GPP standards, and ORAN interfaces (A1, E2, O2, etc.). Experienced in cloud-native RAN deployment on Kubernetes, OpenStack, and CNFs/VNFs. Telco experience required GERMAN SPEAKING ONLY

Requirements:

Lead the integration of O-RU, O-DU and O-CU in a multi-vendor network environment.

Develop strategies for cloud-native vCU/vDU deployment using Kubernetes, OpenStack, and edge computing platforms. Ensure front-, mid- and backhaul network design aligned to O-RAN standards.

Remotely Support Field teams for DU configurations and troubleshooting

Conduct functional, performance, and Load testing of integrated O-RAN networks.

Work with O-RAN testing tools (eg Keysight, VIAVI, Spirent, Radisys, etc.) to validate network KPIs.

Lead the deployment and integration of VNFs, CNFs, and telco applications on cloud platforms.

Cloud experience - Kubernetes and Rakuten Cloud Platform (RCP).

Data center networks experience with Cisco Nexus Switches and Data center gateway Routers.

Configure and manage virtualized and containerized environments -.

Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor and optimize telco cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and vendors, to ensure seamless integration and operation.
