Salesforce Solution Architect - 6 months - Hybrid - Inside IR35

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-level solutions across complex transformation programmes. You'll apply strong domain expertise, architectural frameworks, and modern design principles to ensure solutions align with both business goals and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of end-to-end Solution Architecture, ensuring alignment with security, data, infrastructure, and cloud architecture domains.

• Apply Decision Driven Design principles and leverage frameworks such as BIAN, TOGAF, ArchiMate, using tools like Avolution Abacus to produce Solution Design Documents (SDDs).

• Document complex As-Is, Transition, and Target Architectures in support of strategic roadmaps.

• Define and maintain architectural strategies and roadmaps, aligning a broad set of stakeholders across technologies and business areas, both locally and globally.

• Demonstrate expertise in API/microservice architecture, Digital, Big Data, AWS, Azure, and other cloud-based environments.

• Lead the migration and decommissioning of Legacy systems, supporting the removal of technology obsolescence.

• Deliver practical architectural solutions aligned to IT governance, principles, and regulatory standards.

• Work collaboratively across teams, clearly communicating complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Leverage strong knowledge of Finance & Risk domains, particularly in General Ledger system migrations and transformation initiatives within financial institutions.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• 3-5 years' experience in Solution Architecture, with a proven background in IT Systems Design within financial services or other regulated sectors.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture in enterprise-level implementations, ideally across both greenfield and brownfield projects.

• Deep understanding of architecture methodologies and tooling, including TOGAF, ArchiMate, and BIAN.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.

• A collaborative, proactive mindset, with the confidence to diplomatically challenge ideas when needed.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with view for extension)

• Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid (2/3 days per week onsite)

• Rate: Up to £575 per day Inside IR35
