Title: Platform Engineer (Contact Centre Platform)
Location: Galway, Ireland (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote)
Contract: 6 months
Salary: €270 - €279 per day

Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end platform engineering for a mission-critical contact center system (Genesys)
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to drive measurable improvements in associate experience and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives from ideation to implementation, including provisioning, automation, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Influence architecture and design standards while simplifying complexity through smart solutions.
  • Provide 24/7 stability and uptime to one of the most high-impact systems in the organization.
Experience and qualifications required:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in voice/digital communication systems or contact center platforms.
  • Strong technical leadership, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • VoIP, SIP, softphone software, and telephony protocols.
    • Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
    • CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible, Jenkins) and container tech (Docker).
    • Protocols like HTTP, SIP, TLS, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP.
  • Experience navigating enterprise-scale architecture with an eye toward high availability and continuity.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps practices.
