Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Oracle Exadata Dev Ops engineer for their international client in Utrecht, The Netherlands

Job Description:

The Infrastructure DevOps team is responsible for designing, installing and maintaining our infrastructure that predominantly consists of Oracle Exadata & ZFS systems.

This is done in a fully automated fashion and in such a way that all applications are always on. You as a DevOps engineer are responsible for designing and building and testing this automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain our Oracle Exadata and ZFS infrastructure.
• Automate these tasks using tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Engineer solutions to comply with regulatory requirements and integrate them into the companies' Infrastructure.
• Engage in day-to-day activities like engineering CI/CD pipelines, coding automation scripts, and developing new or adapted solutions.
• Ensure high quality, continuity, and stability for our crucial banking applications.
• Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams and the Product Owner.

Who You Are:

• DevOps engineer with at least five years of experience with Exadata and ZFS installation, configuration, and security.
• Extensive knowledge of automating deployments, developing and test code.
• Enthusiastic about automation tools like: Azure Ansible, APIs, REST, etc. and attentive to even simple task automation.
• Willing to share knowledge and experience.
• Able to see the big picture while diving into details to solve complex integration issues A team player who can cooperate with everyone.
• Open to feedback for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in English (B2 level).

What You Bring:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Linux, Oracle Exadata and ZFS, both in the areas of installation and maintaining.
• Networking knowledge, including Firewalls.
• Extensive experience with automation tools (Ansible, Azure DevOps).
• Preferable experience with ArcSight, Splunk, Qualys, LDAP, Python and PyTest
