Interim Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

We're looking for a seasoned Interim CISO to lead and strengthen the information security function for a dynamic, cloud-first fintech business. This high-impact role requires a strategic and hands-on leader to assess the current InfoSec landscape, identify risks, and implement a more robust and scalable security structure.

As CISO, you'll take ownership of the organisation's security posture, drive compliance with key standards (including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and GDPR), and work closely with senior leadership and engineering teams to embed security across every layer of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a full review of the current information security setup, practices, and team structure.

• Design and implement an enhanced InfoSec strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee risk management, incident response, and compliance programs.

• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including board reporting and client-facing security assurance.

You'll Need:

• Proven leadership in CISO or senior InfoSec roles within SaaS, cloud, or tech-driven environments.

• Experience working with high growth scaling tech businesses

• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practices in security architecture and governance.

• Experience assessing and restructuring InfoSec teams and processes.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at executive level.
